The fastest repair is not the goal when the vehicle, working surface, traffic, weather or task creates unacceptable risk.
Immediate danger? For a collision, fire, threat, medical emergency or vehicle exposed to live traffic, contact the appropriate emergency or roadside service. Do not wait for marketplace chat.
Location checks
- Vehicle is away from live traffic
- Ground is stable, level and suitable for the proposed work
- There is adequate clearance, lighting and access
- Property rules and permission allow vehicle service
- Weather and spill-control conditions are acceptable
Provider stop-work right
A provider may decline or stop work when the site, vehicle, task or equipment is unsafe or outside verified capability. The marketplace should then support safe next steps, which may include towing or a qualified shop referral.
